Stellenview Luxury Self Catering Cottage is situated in a leafy area
of Stellenbosch. The beautiful Stellenview Self Catering Cottage
offers the discerning traveller to the Cape Winelands town of
Stellenbosch a “country stay” experience within walking distance
(less than 1.3 km) from the historic centre of Stellenbosch Village.
Stellenview Self Catering Cottage is suitable for 2 adults and is
situated next to the University of Stellenbosch experimental farm
called Welgevallen. We always joke ... you can “milk the cows” when
they come close enough to the border of the cottage. At Stellenview
Luxury Cottage you are not only situated next to this beautiful
farm, but you also have views of the Stellenbosch Village as well as
the surrounding Stellenbosch Mountains and vineyards.
When staying at this luxury Stellenbosch self catering cottage you
have over 130 wine estates to choose from on the Stellenbosch Wine
Route alone. Within a 30 minute drive, from Stellenview Luxury Self
Catering Cottage, you can also explore the Franschhoek Wine Route
(also known as the Gourmet Capital of South Africa) as well as the
Paarl Wine Route. This makes Stellenview Cottage the ideal little
hideaway if you are a wine enthusiast. For those of you not wanting
to drink and drive we will be more than happy to recommend a
reputable company to take you on a wine tour. For our guests that
need a good breakfast before you can start the day, but don’t feel
like making your own...don’t despair...Stellenview Luxury Cottage is
close to some amazing little restaurants and coffee shops who will
all be delighted to serve you a generous breakfast.
Bird lovers are welcome to bring their own binoculars to view the
variety of birdlife seen from the cottage. Past clients have spotted
41 different birds by just sitting on the Stellenview cottage patio.
The Cape Winelands offer some of the most beautiful golf courses in
South Africa. Stellenview Luxury Cottage offers the golf fanatic the
opportunity to play 22 of the top ranked golf courses in the Cape
Winelands, Cape Town and Overberg regions with travelling time, from
the Stellenview Cottage, ranging between 10 minutes and 90 minutes
by car.
This lovely self catering cottage so close to the historic Dorp
Street of Stellenbosch (the 2nd oldest town in South Africa after
Cape Town) not only offers a delightful stroll to town for you to
enjoy the wonderful culinary delights and shops, but also offers the
more adventurous traveller the experience of making use of the two
mountain bikes (supplied by Stellenview Luxury Cottage) to explore
the various routes from the cottage through the neighbouring
Welgevallen farm and up the Stellenbosch Mountains.
